With extensive experience coordinating subconsultants, she also reviews and develops project documentation (such as project management plans and project handbooks); organizes status updates such as monthly progress reports; creates and administers interviews, surveys, and studies; helps clients prioritize and implement goals and actions; conducts project research and summarizes research findings; and manages and facilitates meetings and trainings. Strategic Advisor and Facilitator, 2024-present

Facilitating the PDX 2045 Planning Advisory Committee, which is advising the PDX 2045 project team and providing insights on decisions that benefit or affect community members. The purpose of PDX 2045 is to update the master plan, defining a framework for planning and implementing development and investments at PDX to meet future demand. The PDX 2045 project will ensure the airport has the space and facilities to serve travelers, cargo, employees, and businesses across the region.

Updating the master plan involves forecasting future needs, comparing those needs to current capacity, and analyzing alternatives to best meet the Port’s shared prosperity mission. The plan will help the Port prepare for emerging opportunities and trends in the aviation industry while also exploring ways that PDX can bring economic benefits to everyone across the region.

Researcher and Writer, 2022-2024

Assisting the city in reviewing and updating its housing development incentives program, with a grant managed by the Washington State Department of Commerce, Growth Management Services. Implementing recommended actions to encourage construction of affordable and market-rate housing in more housing types at affordable prices. Incentives could increase housing production for people of all incomes.

Skanska | Oregon Department of Transportation I-205 Improvements Abernethy Bridge, Phase 1A Pursuit

DBE Outreach & Networking Consultant, 2021-2022

Provided DBE consulting and project management services on the $370 million I-205 Abernethy Bridge improvements pursuit. Helped develop a strategy to assist ODOT in reaching its DBE goals of 14% and diversity goals of 20% MBE and 14% WBE. The project aimed to provide firms a commercially useful function, in which they were responsible for at least 30% of the contract. Worked with the project manager and teaming partners. The pursuit was part of a larger effort to manage congestion, increase predictable travel times, and reduce crashes.

Granite Construction Manager/General Contractor | 9th & Hoyt Consultant

Diversity Manager and Project Management Support, 2022-2025

Coordinating and orienting equity subcontractors and assisting with project management on redevelopment of the historic post office, which includes the City of Portland’s design and construction of utility and roadway upgrades along NW 9th Avenue in the Pearl District of downtown Portland. Utility upgrades include water line capacity improvements, sanitary sewer work, and storm drain upgrades. Roadway improvements include pedestrian ramp upgrades and
street resurfacing.

Metro | 2030 Regional Waste Plan Community Engagement

Cultural Ambassador and Facilitator, 2017-2018

Served as cultural ambassador and facilitation consultant for community engagement on Metro’s 2030 regional waste plan. Included facilitation of sessions with community-based organizations (sometimes with interpreters), asking people what they know about Metro’s waste plan, and discussing garbage and recycling. Later accompanied the groups on a tour of area recycling plants so they could see how their waste is being processed.
